Mini Biography

Suzie Costello was the second-in-command at Torchwood Three, the Cardiff-based wing of the Torchwood Institute. Until they found the glove. Then everything changed.

The glove had the ability to resurrect the dead, but only on a short term basis. Suzie became obsessed with making it work permanently. She didn't mean to do anything wrong. She just wanted to test the knife. A few murders was a small price to pay, because nothing could ever measure up to what she was trying to do.

She loved her job. She didn't want to run. But when the curious police officer Gwen Cooper uncovered her crimes, suicide was Suzie's only option.

It was just as well that she'd prepared for this eventuality. When she died, a chain of events was initiated, resulting in Gwen Cooper using the glove to bring Suzie back. Permanently.

Suzie used Gwen's own life force, channelled by the glove, to bring return from the darkness. If their co-worker, Toshiko Sato, hadn't destroyed the glove, she would have succeed. But, when the link between her and the glove was broken, she was free to die. Again.

This time, the Torchwood team hoped it would be for good.

The 21st century is when it everything changes.

Torchwood, outside the government and beyond the place, has the job of arming the human race against the future. They suffered heavy losses during the battle of Canary Wharf, but they're working to rebuild. Torchwood is becoming bigger and, theoretically, stronger.

Suzie Costello is one of their newest employees, despite her former role at Torchwood Three. Thanks to the Rift, she has come back from the dead yet again. Though her former co-workers are wary of her, she has managed to make friends with the newer members of Torchwood, including Hermione Granger and Inara Serra.

She only has patchy memories of her previous existence - and her death - but one thing is certain. This time, she will hold on to her life at all costs.
